THE FINALE

(I refrain from using the word "grand", if anything it was far from it.)

Manisha thanks everyone in the RK household, finally apologises to RK for having ruined his family prestige in the name of "kadhal" and mother and daughter are about to leave.  Rakki holds Manisha's hand, but Manisha says now Shanti is your mother, hand Rakki over to Shanti and Manisha and her mother bid adieu.

Abirami is being interrogated by ACD.  Ghani and Babu are present.  ACD tells Abirami her double game and her "nayavanjagam" have all come to an end.  He tells her even though she had the opportunity to be a good person in life, she never made use of the opportunities, and she chose to remain a bad person and she has to pay a price for it.  Abirami feels ACD is not being fair to her.  ACD tells Abirami that her count down has started.  Abirami says the RK was responsible for her father's death, so she wanted revenge on him.  ACD asks her if it was RK and clan that she wanted her revenge with, then what did Divya, Ramakrishnan, and Moorthy do, why they had to die.  He asks Abirami whether she killed all of them or she had Kandhu and Srini do it for her.  Abirami confesses to the whole thing saying "yes, yes, yes"  Says, she never ordered anybody to kill anybody, they just happened.  Divya was killed by Kandhu's men accidentally.  She says she just mentioned about Ramakrishnan to Kandhu, and Kandhu disposed off Ramakrishnan, and the same way she just mentioned to Srini that Moorty was blackmailing her, and Srini finished off Moorty.  ACD, Gani and Babu exchange looks.

Court scene:  Abirami is produced in court.  Public prosecutor (PP) begins by saying Abirami has been booked under various cases such as assisting murder, cheating, covering up evidence etc, etc.  PP says bearing all this in mind the judge should award her the maximum punishment.  All the police officers are in attendance including JC.  Judge asks Abirami if she was forced by anyone to make a confession.  Abirami says she was not forced, that she accepts to having committed the crimes mentioned.  Judge sentences Abirami to 10 years imprisonment.  Abirami is a little upset.  JC congratulates ACD on his good work.

As Abirami is led out of the court, accompanied by JC and ACD the whole RK clan is standing there.  Abirami asks ACD's and JC's permission to meet them.  Abirami apologies to RK, says inspite of all this he feels bad for her and has come to see her.  She feels she has been a bad person because of Jambu's influence, and now she has paid the price for it.  Next Abirami goes to Shanti, says Shanti has been a very patient woman and she is the fit daughter in law for the RK household.  She apologies to Shanti and to everybody else present (Rohini, Karthik, and Anitha).  Shanti says the moment Abirami apologized, they have all forgiven her.  At this point the police lead Abirami away, and she is taken away in a jeep.  The RK family is looking at Abirami going.
