Actress Hina Khan has charted a path for herself which is probably one of the most unconventional. Currently the versatile leading anti-heroine Komolika, Hina ruled households as Akshara before jumping into two of television's biggest reality shows. And now we hear Hina is all set to make her movie debut! Our source informs us, "Hina will soon begin shooting for a film in which she will be seen playing a responsible young and talented independent girl. The story is set in Kashmir in the nineties. Farida Jalal will be seen playing the role of Hina's grandmother in this film which shall first compete in film festivals but will also release commercially. However picking this project again was a challenge as she decided to choose a creative film where she's important and she will again get a different unseen shade to play rather than a "tree circling" heroine in a typical Bollywood film which she was offered a lot of times. When we reached out to Hina she confirmed saying, "Its a female-centric beautiful, simple story which is rare in this day and age. I also love the fact that its set in a time and place where we are away from the hustle and bustle of city life, technology and the day to day rush and competition but ultimately I am getting the thrill to challenge myself all over again in a brand new medium."
