Huma doesn't want to play SENSUOUS roles anymore and she makes sense!

Actress Huma Qureshi is busy promoting her upcoming film 'Jolly LLB 2'. The courtroom drama will have Huma paired opposite Akshay Kumar. This time, the actress will be seen as a dominating wife who motivates Akshay to fight the legal battle for justice.

Huma has played many characters in her acting career till date. Her role in 'Badlapur' had raised many eyebrows as she was seen essaying the character of a sex-worker.

In a recent interaction with the media, the actress revealed that she is in no mood to play glamorous and sensuous roles as she didn't want to do such repeated roles ahead.

Talking about the same she says, "I didn't want to do because unfortunately, we live in a world which is so myopic that they only want to offer you what is already done. I didn't want to do another character which is glamorous or like sex-worker. That was also a reason why I wasn't promoting 'Badlapur' that way because when I go around people are like Kya role hain aapka? (What's your role?). Oh so you are playing a sex-worker, how many so-called scenes you had with Varun and I think its a very disrespecting way not just to talk to a woman but also to talk to an actor. I am not doing it for showing my stomach or mini skirt. I am doing a role because I am actor and its not nice to be asked these kind of questions".

"I took my time because I wasn't in a hurry but I wanted to do something different and interesting and I have many other hobbies in life to keep myself busy," she added further.

Huma also shared that it's unfair and morally wrong to assume a person from the kind of role she plays onscreen.

Helmed by Subhash Kapoor, the film is all set to hit the silver screens on February 10^th, 2017.
