I wish Hema Malini was my mother, says Twinkle Khanna

I wish Hema Malini was my mother at least I would get a Kent water purifier free.

The entire Bollywood gathered together for Mrs. Khanna at the launch of her new book, Pyjamas are forgiving. From her hubby Akshay Kumar, Dimple Kapadia, to Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor and many biggies marked their presence for this quirky diva.

As the launch started, Twinkle took the stage down by her wit and humor as always. She is a great story teller and whenever she speaks, secrets spill. The gossip monger of B-town, Karan Johar interviewed the star of the show and then the fireworks started.

Karan very joyfully asked Twinkle why has she dedicated this book to her mother? Now as an answer Twinkle tried giving an explanation of why this book shouldn't have been dedicated to her mother. She said,"She (Dimple Kapadia) was rather surprised when she found out that I dedicated this book to her because she has never encouraged me in anything. She has always tried to pick faults. When I first started writing columns, one of them became very popular and I called her up to ask her if she has read it and she replied - 'No, but I wanted to tell you over dinner last night that none of your serving dishes match."

She had people rolling on the floor laughing when she said that Bollywood mothers love nagging as much as the rest of the mothers out there. And then she threw the punch which blew the whole house down. She said,"I was like what is the use of having you as a mother, I wish Hema Malini was my mother at least I would get a Kent water purifier free."
