After Ranveer Singh - Kareena Kapoor, the two names everyone is waiting to share the screen space soon is Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone. Reportedly, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has worked both with Salman and Deepika is in talks to pair them together for the first time for his next 'Inshallah'.
Recent reports suggest that this project was locked by the filmmaker just last month. A report in HT is to be believed then Sanjay will approximately take a period of six-nine months to complete the final draft of this film. The report also adds that Salman's name as the lead actor has been doing rounds in the tinsel town for a long time now while the female lead is yet to be finalised by the director.
Now, a report in Telegraph states, "Bhansali who has worked with Deepika Padukone in three of his blockbuster films- 'Ram Leela', 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Padmaavat', is keen to sign her for 'Inshallah'". Deepika by now understands Bhansali's way of work and Salman who has already worked with Sanjay in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' would also do a fair job as he too is familiar with the director's vision.
If this happens for real then this project will be Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone's first film together. Although they have never shared screen space on the big screen but on the small screen, Deepika and Salman were seen in one frame twice when the actress was a guest on his television show 'Bigg Boss' to promote her films - Tamasha and Padmaavat.
Their fun chemistry and easy bonding was loved by the audience and ever since the fans have been waiting to see them together. Tell us if you are looking forward to watching them on-screen together soon in the comment section below.
