Here's why Alia Bhatt MISSED Ranbir's mom Neetu's Birthday Celebration

Ranbir celebrated mother Neetu Singh's 60th Birthday in Paris and GF Alia was expected to join them but she gave it a miss.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's relationship is having a smooth ride as of now. Their families have kind of accepted their relationship in public as Alia recently dined with Ranbir's family while Ranbir last week caught up with Alia's dad Mahesh Bhatt.

As this beautiful couple is going strong, news of Bhatt joining Ranbir and his family in Paris to celebrate Neetu Singh's 60^th Birthday were doing rounds on the internet. But now as we all saw, Alia gave it a miss and we know the reason behind it.

About Alia Bhatt's absence from the family gathering in Paris, a source informed Deccan Chronicle that it was Alia's father Mahesh Bhatt who had advised his daughter to not call off her work commitments and attend Neetu's birthday celebration.

The source revealed, "Bhatt Sahab always wants actors to do their best when they are at the peak of their careers. The younger generation does like to mix work with pleasure, but it was on her father's advice that Alia decided to go to work instead of attending the birthday celebration".

We wonder if Ranbir's mom Neetu Singh appreciated this decision as she had flown to Bulgaria this year to celebrate Alia's 25^th birthday. Here are the photos:

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor just gave a phenomenal performance in Sanju and the film has managed to win the hearts of many. Alia, on the other hand, impressed us with her performance in 'Raazi' yet again.

The two lovebirds are all set to share the screen space for the first time in their upcoming film 'Brahmastra'. This much-awaited film is slated to release on 15^th August 2019.
