Priyanka Chopra receives BMC notice for ILLEGAL Construction

The actress has failed to repay to the authorities and if this happens once again, the BMC will demolish her house.

Priyanka Chopra who recently moved to her new house pad in Versova has faced legal actions from the BMC. According to reports, the BMC has sent notice to Pee Cee who is an owner of a commercial premise at Oshiwara in Andheri (West) for unauthorized construction in the premises of her office and another adjoining commercial premise which she has rented out.

One of Pee Cee's adjoining commercial is Charisma Beauty Spa and Salon for which the BMC has received five complaints from the visitor. In their complaint, the visitors have alleged illegal alterations in the spa, including putting in an unauthorised mezzanine floor. The BMC found the violations during a check and has sent two separate notices to the owners-occupants of both the premises.

About this report, a senior official revealed to TOI, "We earlier wrote, asking them to regularize the unauthorized changes after paying the penalty and remove the other illegal changes which cannot be approved. But they didn't bother to pay any attention after which we sent them the notice under the Maharashtra Regional Town Planning Act (MRTP). If they fail to reply again, we will demolish the illegal constructions at both the premises".

Well, Pee Cee has only one month left to reciprocate and we'll see what the actress will do. In past, actors like Anushka and Big B have also received BMC notice for illegal construction.
