Varun Dhawan is taken as a next superstar of Bollywood after the Khans. The actor is specially said to have a stardom like Salman Khan in his career. The actor is currently shooting for Karan Johar's "Kalank" with many other big stars. But, that isn't the only film that the actor is working on he has some interesting line up of films such as, "Sui Dhaga: Made In India" with Anushka Sharma, Remo D'souza's dance film with Katrina Kaif and Karan Johar's next, "RanBhoomi".
Today at a book-launch event while interacting with the media when the actor was asked about working in a biopic. The actor said that he gets scared when he is offered biopics. "If I have to do a biography on someone, it would be my dad. I think it would be about his early life, till the time he didn't have me," said Varun.
He further added, "Whenever I am offered a biopic, I get scared. Most of the times, I don't want to do one. I approach even my fictional characters as biopic characters. I am playing a tailor in 'Sui Dhaga'. It's not based on a particular person but it's based on my observations of common people and how they go to work."
However, when Varun was also asked about certain sections of the society taking offence to the content shown in historical films. He said, "Unfortunately, this is a double-edged sword in our country where we have certain sections getting upset with certain interpretation. If you are doing it from a clean heart and a good place, hopefully, no one will get offended. In 2018, everyone's offended with everything."He concluded by saying that he is not sceptical about signing a historical film due to this.
