Shahid Kapoor starts shooting for his next 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu'

After enjoying the success of his recently released film, "Padmaavat" Shahid Kapoor is all set to start with his next film, "Batti Gul Meter Chalu". The actor will be playing the role of a lawyer for the first time in his career.

The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor opposite Shahid. The duo was previously seen in Vishal Bharadwaj's film, "Haider" in 2016. Well, but, the film has one more addition of Yami Gautam in who will also be seen sharing the screen space with the two. However, she will be working with them for the first time.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh the team has left to Uttarakhand to start with the film.  

The movie will be wrapped by April and will be shot across Haridwar, Rishikesh, Tehri, Mussoorie and Nainital.
