Kareena Kapoor, Sonam's Veere Di Wedding gets a new release date

This Indian female buddy comedy family was earlier slated to release on 18th May, 2018.

'Veere Di Wedding' is undoubtedly is one of the most anticipated films of this year and this has many reasons to it. Firstly, it is Kareena Kapoor's comeback film after giving birth to son Taimur Ali Khan. Second is the concept of the film which looks so much fun and fresh. Lastly, the most stylish divas of Bollywood - Kareena and Sonam Kapoor will act together for the first time.

The film's first look was appealing where all the girls - Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania teased us with their Veere avatar. The poster gave us major shaadi vibes and lifted us with expectation and more with excitement.

However, the film was earlier slated to release on 18^th May but the makers have now changed the wedding date. So now you all are invited to this crazy wedding on 1^st June. Ekta Kapoor tweeted the news saying, "1 June is one big day!!!! Veere di wedding arrives on my lakkshya 's bday!!!! Ab shaadi aur bday pe aap sab ko nimantran hai".

It is Kareena who will be getting married in the movie and looks this will be the wedding of the year. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film is produced by Sonam's elder sibling Rhea Kapoor.

The team of Veere Di Wedding completed the first part of the shooting in Delhi. Post that, the girls shot in Phuket where they had a gala time chilling around the pool.
