During the interviews of his upcoming film "Padman", Akshay Kumar revealed that his son, Aarav Kumar has been well educated on the topic of mensuration.

"Padman" directed by R. Balki is produced by Twinkle Khanna under her banner Mrs. Funnybones Productions.

Today at the media interactions, when Akshay was asked that since he is openly promoting his film and also speaking extensively about menstruation- Is his son Aarav also aware of it?

On this, Akshay said, "Twinkle Khanna told everything about periods to son Aarav. Nothing is hidden in our family. We don't live double-faced lives. We have kept it very open."

Further, when he was asked if he knew everything about menstruation before he signed the film, Akshay said that it was one and a half years ago that he actually got to know about it in detail when he started prepping for the film. He also added that currently, it's 82% of the female population of our country who don't have the access to sanitary pads. He hopes that even if 5% women out of 82% get the awareness, he has won the battle.

Adding to that he said, "This problem is there in every country but in ours, it's huge. It's an important film. Ye ek aisa mudda hai jo har koi haath nai lagta. I am catering it as a love story with a social message."

"Padman" is all set to hit the silver screens on Republic Day, i.e January 26, 2018.

There is something wrong with society. People will gossip in front of kids about the whole family and friends but will not talk about body. Science which is essential and normal is taboo but utter nonsense of gossip is ok to talk about in front of kids.
