Harshvardhan Kapoor is UNHAPPY with the INJUSTICE in Awards

After Amaal Malik, Harshvardhan Kapoor expresses his disgust over the quality of judgment taken by the jury members of a recently held award function.

Anil Kapoor's son, Harshvardhan Kapoor's debut film 'Miryza' had failed to create its magic on the box office. Though the film had a poor performance, his hard work didn't go unnoticed as he garnered immense praise from the audience for his performance.

He had won the 'Star Screen Awards' and 'Stardust Award' for 'Mirzya'. But it seems that he needs to work harder to impress the jury at 'Filmfare Awards 2016'. Harsh was nominated in the category of best debutant male but the 'Black lady' was conferred to actor Diljit Dosanjh for his stint in 'Udta Punjab'.

The actor was disappointed by the jury's decision as his expectations were left unfulfilled. He was also disheartened by the fact that the award was given to Diljit.

A popular tabloid quoted him stating, "Although I picked up two debutant awards earlier, I was really looking forward to winning the black lady. But I guess every awards event has its own parameters. I'll be honest, though. I think a debutant award is meant for someone working on his first film. It shouldn't go to an actor who has worked in several films in another language".

Harshvardhan stated that Diljit has a good hands-on experience of working in films from other industries and as such considering him for a debutant award is an injustice.

He further quotes that, "For instance, if Leonardo DiCaprio works in Hindi film, is he making an acting debut? He has already worked in so many films".

However, going by the proverb 'let by gones be by gones', the actor is unfettered by his past experience and focusses on moving ahead only to excel in his career.

The actor is currently working on Vikramaditya Motwane's 'Bhavesh Joshi'.

Diljit deserved this award...even the other two awards that were given to this star kid...Mirzya was purely a headache and so was this star kid's acting...

these Kapoor Kids are such crybaby. By that logic sonam should not have been nominated given she acted in Mr. india as a kid.

Or in genereal. Filfare is an Hindi Cinema award, a newbie is a newbie...

None of the awards shows are fair! The fact that he managed to get TWO awards is yet another proof of how the awards are bought even the filmfare awards.

What a spoilt brat Mr. Kapoor Jr is. He may have put in a lot of hard work but awards are not given for that if that hard work fails to materialise on screen. Mirzya was a bad movie and even worse was his acting.
2ndly, I am surprised he even won 2 debut awards. No prizes here for guessing that those have been bought. Even after such a massive flop, he is already working on his next movie. There have been so many people in bwood who, even after giving decent/hits, don't get further work due to lack of connections and Kapoor Jr already has another movie despite being a bad actor.

Yes debutant award should go to the one who worked first time in a film agree.
Best of luck for future projects.

He should thank his lucky stars that he got paid awards for his crappy acting. No one even wanted to see his debut film.
Diljit totally deserved this award.

Harshvardhan Kapoor expected to get a filmfare award?
Such a bad actor he is. Atleast he is lucky to get 2 awards. Film was super flop and his acting was trashed. Did he forget that?

What an "Un-gracious" spoilt star kid this guy is! A "debutant" award is given in a movie industry to someone who is new in that industry! Not in acting. Yes if Leo comes and acts in a Hindi movie, THAT is his "Hindi movie debut". So maybe he CAN win a Debutant award.

Just coz this guy is Anil Kapoor's son he thinks the deserves to win the Film fare? Hats off to the Jury of Film Fare for not falling under pressure to give all the awards to spoilt brat star kids and acklowledge those who are not! Good one. Have not seen either of these movies, I hardly watch BW movies, but I heard of the movie Udata Punbaj and it sounded good, and even saw an interview of this actor. I am sure he deserved it.
To Harshvardhan: Instead of begrudging others their success, work harder, maybe then the Black lady will come to you!
