Abhay Deol REACTS to ADHM's controversy, and it has a lot of meaning!

Karan Johar's upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been churning a lot of headlines after MNS party threatened to ban the film's release, in the wake of Uri attacks. Many members from the film fraternity have come ahead in support of Karan and have given their views on the controversy.

It's now actor Abhay Deol who was present at the opening ceremony of MAMI festival spoke his heart out on the film's release issue. He said, "If you want to ban anything to do with Pakistan then go the distance. Don't just ban the film makers. Why are you doing a half-hearted job? Ban the business dealings we do, the import, the export. Because when you do half a job no one will take you seriously." (sic)

Abhay opined that by only banning the artists won't do the needful, if the goverment means it, it should cut off all kinds of business ties with them.

He said, "I will support if you think banning anything to do with Pakistan is going to help our jawans. I don't take the government seriously because they're only banning us from collaborating with artists. They're not banning businessmen from doing business." (sic)

Abhay has clearly stated that it shouldn't be just banning artists but also all sorts of financial relations with Pakistan.

Absolutely My point. Why doing shallow artist targeting? Why not completely put a ban and stop trading between both countries?

Don't anyone read news...Govt didn't even ban the actors... According to the home minister, there will be full proctection during the release.. When I see these kind of articles, i just want to hit my head on a wall... When common people and soldiers are suffering, all the nation wants to talk is about movies... For godsake it is just a movie!!!!!!

I don't understand banning a movie which was shot before the trouble began or rules were made!!!!

Even if such a rule is made then it should be applied to movies made henceforth!!!!!

first of all gov of India didnt ban anything.Its MNS protest to ban artists so i dont know y is everyone after gov.People are protesting agianst ADHM and raees because fawad and mahira were least bothered about terrorism in India while make lots of money and fame here.But yes i agree GOV should ban pakisthan by all means be it financial or movies.We r being too kind to that terrorist country.

Business dealings are on in full swing. Big Corporations are not affected at all but only small set-ups are affected because of war fear. For example Just take a look of export of Industrial Plants and Machines.
Artists are soft targets because it benefits the politician and make headlines like nothing else.
