Sanju Baba's blockbuster 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' completes a decade!

Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' has completed its 10 golden years. The Rajkumar Hirani cult movie was released on 1st September 2006.

Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' has completed its 10 golden years. The Rajkumar Hirani cult movie was released on 1st September 2006.

Sanjay Dutt had reprised his role as Munna Bhai in the film, and the movie further showcases how he turns into a Radio Jockey spreading Gandhigiri.

Sanjay Dutts role in the movie as an RJ won him widespread critical acclaim and is one of the most remembered roles of Bollywood. The actor is also refered as Munna Bhai in real life by his fans! 

The way he had portrayed the character of a Radio Jockey in the movie has made him a popular figure among RJ's. It soon became the actor's most loved characters among the audiences. RJ's especially across the country love Sanju Baba for his performance in the movie and thank him for making their profession uber-cool amongst all the sections of society.

Sanjay Dutts popularity among RJ's doesn't end over here, news is RJ's across the country want 1st September as World Radio Jockey Day, because 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' was released on this day & also withstanding the fact that Sanjay Dutt was a Radio Jockey in real life when he was serving his prison term. 

Lage Raho Munna Bhai is an Indian comedy drama film helmed by ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and produced by known producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Lage Raho Munna Bhai is the recipient of four National Film Awards in addition to other awards.

The movie gives you immense dose of comedy and laughter along with a strong social message, when Munna Bhai after seeing the spirit of Gandhiji, which is an effect of hallucinations, starts helping common people in their everyday life to  solve their problems which he terms as 'Gandhigiri'.

The movie was an enormous hit at the box office upon its release and grossed approximately 1.93 billion worldwide. The movie had some prominent screenings as it was the first Hindi movie to be screened at United Nations & was also screened at Tous Les Cinema du Monde section of the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.

Oh what a treat it still is to watch " munna bhai". Sanjay Dutt's acting was flawless in it.
