The film which defined an entire generation, and received immense love and praise from its audience, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is one of the most fan-favorite films of all time. The film features superstars- Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan, as it turned out to be one of the stepping stones of their career.
However, the film didn't only go on to be a massive blockbuster but continued to play in a theatre (Maratha Mandir) for over two decades.
During a recent media interaction, SRK, in a state of nostalgia revealed what his close friend and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had told him after watching the film. SRK said, "The first person outside the production who saw the film and said 'it's a great one' was my friend Salman Khan."
Shah Rukh and Salman have had quite the journey in Bollywood. They have not only appeared in cameos in each other's films every now and then, but the two actors have also starred in films like Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and others. Among the more recent ones, Salman did a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's film Zero, in the song Issaqbaazi.
Although, the BFF had major fallout, back in 2008 which arose a cold war between the two. But, it took them a span of 7 years to get finally let bygones be bygones and be friends again. Finally, the two actors, reunited as friends, are once again making headlines for their BFF stories.
