Emraan Hashmi's 'Tigers' all set to release digitally today

With the constant growth digital platforms and their content, Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi's next 'Tigers' is all set to release digitally today. The film will be released on Zee5, and 'Tigers' marks itself as the first Hindi original film.

The film features Emraan Hashmi and directed by Danis Tanovic, it's a true story of a Pakistani salesman and his fight against unjust practices. 

During a media interaction, Emraan Hashmi said, "This movie is very close to my heart, and I am thrilled to announce its release on a platform like ZEE5. We have premiered at the prestigious Toronto Film Festival and travelled around the world with the film. The story has received a heart-warming response everywhere. We sincerely believe that this is a tale that people should know, and we hope that they like it."

The film is produced by Guneet Monga, and he added, "Tigers is a relevant and topical film. A real labour of love, it is also an amazing collaboration of talent from across the world. It has been an honour working with Danis and Emraan. We are thrilled with Zee coming on board to distribute and release the film on their OTT platform as their first Hindi original film."    

Adding to it, ZEE5 India's Business Head, Manish Aggarwal shared "Tigers explores the power of corporates, media and ethics. Emraan's portrayal of the protagonist will make sure that the film's message travels far and wide. Movies such as these are essential to spark a meaningful debate in popular conversation and we are proud to present it as our first Hindi Original film."
