Sarkar 3 Movie Review: Ram Gopal Varma Fails Sarkar Fans!

Director: Ram Gopal Varma;Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpayee, Amit Sadh, Ronit Roy, Yami Gautam, Supriya Pathak and Rohini Hattangadi.Ratings: Ratings: **/5 (Two stars out of five)

You enter the theatre with a lot of expectations, but what happens next is disastrous! It will make you wonder whether this movie was really made by the man whose films include Company, Rangeela and Satya!

Well coming back to the movie, it starts with a scene where Amitabh Bachchan who plays, Subhash Nagre (iconic fictional character created by Ram Gopal Varma), is seen giving a speech (which was supposed to be powerful, inspiring and impactful). The first shot itself will make you lose any hopes that you have from the RGV, of delivering another spectacular 'Sarkar' film.

This installment of the Sarkar Franchise, focusses on how enemies of Subhash Nagre aka Sarkar are trying to make him powerless and also attempting to kill him. Amitabh as Sarkar looks more angrier this time. The film introduces Shivaji Nagre (Amit Sadh), the arrogant, hot headed grandson of Sarkar. A struggle for power has been shown between Sarkar's right hand Gokul (Ronit Roy) and Shivaji. Also, Govind Deshpande (Manoj Bajpayee), a CM level candidate from the opposition's party tries his best to bring down the lion by agitating people against him (Sarkar). Lastly, actor Jackie Shroff, who was always shown to be accompanied with a bikini clad girl, was given a few dialogues, which will make you say 'Whaaat?'

And the most important mention, Yami Gautam! What in the world she was doing in the film? The question here is why did Yami even agree to do the film, in the first place? Her character in the film has been poorly built.

The script is poorly written, as the story has loose ends. There is also no continuity between two scenes. For a moment you will feel like the film has been made 'just' for the sake of taking the Sarkar franchise ahead. The dialogues have no power and lack impact. You will feel totally disconnected with this film. Also, the scenes are poorly edited.

The only good thing about the film is its background score. Even though it was quite mismatched at most times, it was the only saving grace of this disappointing RGV Flick!!

Ramu Sir, can we still have hope to see you at your best?

Ratings: **/5 (Two stars out of five)

One star for all the hardwork and efforts that were put in by the actors and the crew of the film and one for background score!

I just came watching the movie...
who is this person, who gave this review. Absolutely not justified.
The movie DEFINITELY deserves more than 2 n half stars. It should get minimum 3 n half stars.
I feel people should give reviews without getting biased, otherwise please don't even try to give reviews.
