Check out: A proud moment for Roshni Walia...

Young talent Roshni Walia, who won audience' hearts with her performance on shows like 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap' and 'Yeh Vaada Raha' recently contributed her bit in the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi's initiative 'Swach Bharat'.

We hear that, Roshni was invited by the Lions Club, Mumbai to be a part of their initiative of taking up beautification of Lokhandwala Main Market in Mumbai, as their first step towards the 'Swachh Bharat' initiative.

It was a 9 days long event and celebrities like Sonu Nigam, Parineeti Chopra, Roshni Walia and many others became a part of it. Roshni was also awarded by the Lions Club Association for her contribution towards the initiative.

When we contacted Roshni, she told us, "I am very happy and thankful to Lions Club and specially Raju uncle for giving me this honour of being a part of such a noble cause. I believe that we should also keep our city clean, along with keeping our homes clean. Only then will we be able to feel proud of our beautiful city. So this year don't just clean your homes, but clean your city too. I am proud to be a part of this movement."
