The talented actress Gungun Uprari who is seen playing the role of Prajapati in the mythological show Buddha on Zee TV, is also seen playing the role of Naina in the comedy fiction show Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar which airs on SAB TV.
She is seen donning two totally different characters in both the shows, as one show is a mythological show and the other is a comedy show. On the same we got in touch with Gungun to know about how difficult is it to juggle between two shows at a time, on how is it being a part of the fiction cooking show Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar and much more.
Here is Gungun Uprari unplugged...
Sharing about being a part of the show Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar, Gungun says, "The show is doing good and we are getting a good response too. I am enjoying being a part of this show. The concept of the show is very different and attractive which made me to take up this show."
Since Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar is more of a cooking show, we asked Gungun about her cooking skills too, as she is shown a good cook in the show. Here it is what she says, "Yes, I am a good cook in my real life too. But I am getting to learn a lot new dishes through this show also. I am really happy to do the quality work through the shows in which I am currently acting in."
When we asked her on how is it working with the Production house she says, "It is nice to work with the production house. They are very supportive and helpful. I am doing two shows at one time and I am glad that both the show's production houses are managing towards it."
Gungun is currently doing two shows at one time. When we asked her about how difficult is it handling two shows at a time, she says, "Yes, it is difficult to handle two shows at one time, but I am managing it. Both the shows are absolutely opposite to each other, one is a comedy show wherein the other is a mythological show. Changing characters in no time becomes a difficulty most of the times, like I am in the serious look of Prajapati even when I go to shoot for Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar (smiles). But since the show Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar is just for a month, I won't face much problems."
Gungun got her break in TV as a lead role in the show Bandhan Saat Janamon Ka, and now we see her playing a parallel lead or in a supportive role in many shows. On the same we asked her whether is she fine playing supportive roles or not? She says, "Well there is never an issue of playing a supportive role or a parallel lead according to me. If your character and the storyline of the show is interesting then there is nothing more to look at."
Well, truly said Gungun! We wish you all the very best for your future endeavors.
