On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, these real brother and sister are planning to make their Rakshabandhan day a special one. The bond of a brother and a sister is so lovable that it can't be expressed in words as it has the essence of every relation like caring parents to friends who fight a lot.
The good looking Mishkat Varma who is currently seen as Raj in Zee TV's Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya and the beautiful and talented actress Mihika Verma who essays the character of Mihika in Star Plus' Ye Hai Mohabbatein are real life siblings. On the beautiful occasion of Rakshabandhan, TellyBuzz quizzed Mishkat and Mihika about their bonding with each other and their plans to celebrate Rakshabandhan.
We found the bond of Mishkat and Mihika very cute, full of love with an element of fights too.
Let's hear what they said...
Tell us something about your bonding with each other.
Mishkat - I am one of the brothers who expresses love to his sister a lot. I give her a good night and god morning kiss. We are very close to each other and she is like a mother to me.
Mihika - He always compliments me when I am looking good. Mishkat is a very responsible brother and he is younger to me and he is like a well that runs deep. He doesn't say much but there are a lot of thoughts behind everything he does. He thinks a lot and he knows what he has to do for his parents then his sister and then for himself. He has got his priorities set. He is much more hard working, more inspired, more focused than me. I learn these things from him. I learn from his discipline, the way he treats people, he teaches me a lot.
Even though I am doing television from long, but I have changed myself after seeing his qualities. He is such a brat at home so I thought he must be like that on his set too but he is not like that. He is punctual at his work. He can't even get late for his work for even 10 mins. He has been doing like this consistently for the last seven months and I know that he is going to maintain his professionalism throughout his life.
Both of you must be fighting with each other too...
Mihika - We fight for food, TV's remote. Food creates a big fight between both of us.
Mishkat - She looks thin but she is a Bhukkhad (laughs).
Mihika - Recently we fought over some chicken dish.
Mihika - If I fight with someone then he tells me that I should have done this or what I shouldn't have done. He is very traditional in his own thinking. I am a little more rebellious. He is a good brother and a good son.
How do you manage to meet each other out of your busy schedule?
Mishkat - We always wanted to have a busy life like this when both of us don't get time to meet each other except just for saying good morning and good night to each other.
How both of you spend your holiday?
Mihika - We just stay at home, sleep, chit chat with each other or watch each other's show and give feedback to each other.
Mishkat - She never says bad about me. Whatever I do, she just says its superb.'
Mihika - I just cry. I cried while watching his 1st episode. I never criticize; I always praise him.
Mishkat - I take guidance from her. She is a better actress than I am and she guides me for acting.
Mihika - I never put any opinion of mine on him. its very difficult to impress me but he manages to do it every time. I don't give him any tips and neither does he. We do everything independently but whenever I see him dancing then I get that Raj fever' like all others. A lot of people have said that to me.
What are your plans for Rakshabandhan?
Mihika - We are going to have a get together at my sister's place where my three cousin sisters will be present. We are four sisters who will celebrate Rakhi. Every time they give something to Mishkat and this time Mishkat will give something to them. After every Rakshabandhan, Mishkat touches the feet of our four sisters. This time, my other sisters are quite excited to meet him after long to see whether he has changed but I am sure that he is going to be the same.
Mishkat, what are you planning to gift to Mihika on Rakshabandhan?
Mishkat - Mihika wants
me to gift her a very expensive bag and I have agreed to finance that.
Mishkat - Happy Rakshanbandhan! Love your sister a lot; she is like your mother; respect her and worship her.
Mihika - Shower your brother with lots of love and always treat him like your
son. For me, he is like my son. We express our love to each other everyday.
