The number of issues of women safety in India have been increasing at an alarming rate, where almost every other day, we are enlightened with a new case of rape, molestation and even murders.

As scary as it is, the fact that its increasing with every passing day is the core area of concern. And when it comes to women being unsafe, our TV actresses are no exception.

In the past, there have been cases about molestation and unanticipated incidents happening with a few actresses that created a stir in the industry. And the recent victim of the same is actress Pratibha Tiwari aka Naiya from 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya.'

Recently, according to a leading news daily, the actress was at the receiving end of a scenario when a drunkard man attempted to molest her on the Kandivali highway in Mumbai.

Pratibha who was accompanied by her hairdresser, was waiting for a colleague when this incident happened. What makes it even more shocking is that the incident took place during the busy hours of the night, around 10 p.m. And 10 pm, is a pretty active time in the city of Mumbai.

However, being the brave person that Pratibha is, she did not get scared or perplexed. She fought back with the miscreant and even dragging him to the nearest police station. She also immediately lodged a FIR with the police (First Information Report).

Pratibha mentioned that as much as it was a shock that such an unfortunate incident took place, it was a revelation too. And while several women find it scary and hesitant to lodge a complaint against such people in these cases, Pratibha urged the women to fight out.
