T he drama never ceases in daily seri- als. In Deeya and Tony Singh's new show on Sony, Jeete Hain Jiske Liye, the Holi episode will spring a surprise on the protagonist family of the Dhanrajgirs. The story so far: Aman (Ayub Khan) Dhanrajgir and his wife Anjali (Renu- ka Shahane) are a child- less couple. While Aman is heir to a rich business fam- ily, Anjali is an orphan. Aman's bua Adira (Ash- wini Kalsekar) makes sure that Anjali doesn't conceive lest she loses the family property to the khandaan ka waaris. Then there is Ashmit (Vishal Singh), Aman's younger brother.He's mar- ried to Avni (Pooja Ghai). Anjali and Avni acciden- tally meet each other one day and work out a plan to bring the two estranged brothers together. Here's where the twist in the storyline appears. In the Holi special episode, it will be revealed that Avni was actually in love with Aman. But since Aman married Anjali, Avni married his younger brother only to get closer to him. Looks as if Anjali's broad smiles will soon give way to that tried and tested prime time television weapon – buckets of tears, which usually translates to high TRPs.
