The episode begins with students suffering from a serious fever.Ganesha, Rishi Pipalad, Rishi Arishtanemi,rishi Samvad worried for students worsening condition.Samvad wants to flee away in the wake of contagious disease, but Arishtanemi declines to do so.Then a vaidya{doctor} inspects the health, and asks for a big amount of money as fee.Rishi Pipalad is shocked seeing his behaviour and realizes the greediness residing in him.Parents are also angry and want to take their child home, but Rishi Pipalad stoops them, and ask the parents to trust him.
Ganesha therefore, calls Dev-vaidya's to help the students.They both come, and tells the name of Aarogyavarhini medicine which has the capability of healing the students.They tell them that the medicine is with Rishi Udhyansh, but he won't give it, because of Indra's words.They also start to narrate the story of how Rishi Udhyansh got the medicine - Rishi Udhyansh pleased Devendra with his hospitality.Happy Lord Devendra asks rishi for a boon and Rishi Udhyansh asks him to give Aarogyavardhini medicine,Indra gives it, in return also warns him not to use the medicine, if he does he will face dire consequence.
Ganesha, Rishi Pipalad go to Rishi Udhyanash ashram and ask him to give them the medicine for students benefit.Rishi Udhyansh wants to give, but is pulled back due to Devendra's warning.Ganesha then, comes with a plan which is useful to not only Udhyansh, but also to the students.Ganesha hnce was going through the forest where he sees a Papa horse with his son who is having fever,the same fever which affected Gurukul's students.Ganesha tells the horse about the plan in which he has to give sacrifice, he readily agrees to help Ganesha in his good work.Then both Ganesha and the horse come to Udhyansh ashram, horse gives his sacrifice, is rewarded heaven for this,and his head is attached to Udhyansh body, whereas Udhyansh head is safely wrapped in a cloth.
Ganesha gets the medicine, marches towards the ashram, but first on the way, he gives the medicine to the Papa horse's son, he asks for his father, ganesha tells him the truth in a proper way, which makes him sad, but also proud of his father.There Indra gets angry, as Rishi dhyansh did not follow his words, he comes to the ashram uses his vajra, attacks Udhyansh and chopped his head down.After Indra goes Rishi Pipalad, attaches the head of Rishi with his body, chants some mantras and Udhyansh is brought back to life.
Ganesha comes to the ashram with the medicine and there the same greedy vaidya still there.Seeing the Aarogyavardhini medicine in ganesha's hand his greediness reaches to a whole new level.Ganesha learns that his teachers are also suffering from the fever, therefore he takes some medicine in his hand, and gives the rest to Dev-vaidya's.He then applies the medicine to the teachers before sunset, as the medicine will not work after that.The greedy vaidya knows this and hence locks the students room until the sun sets, after he open the door.After sometime, seeing the chance the vaidya steals the medicine, Arishtanemi senses this, and tells this to his fellow Rishi's.They all go in search of that vaidya.
The vaidya decides to throw the medicine and keep the gold jar with him as it will fetch hima mighty price when he will try to sell it.As he was about to throw the medicine, Ganesha, Rishi Pipalad, others come there and stops him from doing this.Ganesha is frustrated as how come a vaidya could do this.He then realizes his mistake, and begs to be forgiven.Rishi Pipalad also gets angry and says that his knowledge of medicines should be taken from him.
Finally the next day morning, Ganesha applies the medicine to his fellow students.All the students feel better, and thank Ganesha for this.Rishi Udhyansh is also elated that finally Aarogyavardhini is useful for common people.
