Directors of the Bollywood fraternity are known for their keen eye when choosing the leads for their films, and most of us would love to thank them for creating a jodi that would never leave our hearts.

Any good actor has the ability to create chemistry with their co-actor, however, it takes more than that for a couple to sizzle on screen and leave the audience wanting to see more of them. With that in mind, BollyCurry has compiled a small list of couples who graced the big screens in 2015 after a long time.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol

This is one of the most famous on screen jodis from the 90s and to this day, their loyal fans are begging for more. After acting in more than a dozen successful films in their younger days, these two phenomenal actors teamed up in the 2010 blockbuster My Name Is Khan. Since then, they've only been seen together in cameo roles until 2015 proved to be the lucky year for their fans, who are waiting with bated breaths to see their latest venture, Dilwale.

Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan

Ever since the 2011 hit film, Tanu Weds Manu, the audience has been hyped to see them burn the screens once again. After so many years passed, one was bound to give up hope until Ranaut and Madhavan returned together with none other than the sequel, Tanu Weds Manu Returns. After watching the film, one might even dare say that their chemistry with each other has only gotten better with time.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Salman Khan

Another couple that rocked the screens in 2011 was the Kareena-Salman combo in Bodyguard. Even though this wasn't the couple's first film together, it left a lasting impression on the audience, who wanted to see more of them. Well, their loyal fans were rewarded this year because the duo was finally cast together in Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone

Following the success of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), the audience was left spellbound with this pair's chemistry. Tamasha released on 28th November, 2015. The music videos and the trailer provide evidence that the couple's on screen rapport is intact and the movie is proving the same. There's absolutely no doubt that this movie has left us thirsting for more.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone

The most talked about couple of B-Town made this list because the couple's faithful fans were anxiously waiting for their return together since their impeccable chemistry in Ram-Leela (2013). There's no doubt that Singh and Padukone can make any film work since the trailer and music videos of their upcoming Bajirao Mastani proved that they astound in any avatar.

It is infamously agreed that even though we like new and happening, old is always gold. Therefore, these couples have proven their mettle time and again and they never cease to amaze their fans and critics alike with their amazing coordination as a team.
