Actress Kalki Koechlin, who has been busy shooting for her films, has kept mum all this while about the sidelining of Pakistani actors in Bollywood and says she doesn't want to add fuel to the fire.

"I don't want to add fuel to the fire because this thing has been going on for a long time. I personally think that we live in an international world and we have Indians living all over the world. If we asked all those NRIs to come back to India, then we would have nowhere to put them," Kalki said at the launch of e-decor magazine.

"So, similarly, if there are guests from other countries living in our country, myself included, who is of French origin but born and bought up in India, where do I belong? If I don't belong in this country, then I don't know where I belong to. So, I think it's very important to understand that," she added.

Post the Uri attack, tensions between India and Pakistan have taken an ugly turn, following which a debate has raged on whether Pakistani actors should be banned from working in India.

Wow what a bitch! After all these days she finally chose to spoke aint? Despite being born and raised in India she still considers herself a "GUEST"? These kinds of people are the real threat to India. Shame on you Kalki. India gave birth to you and gave you all that you needed, made you who and what you are yet you consider yourself a guest? You're a disgrace to Indians!! Do us a favour and go back to France and see if you can fit in there.

They present their views as a ultimate voice. That is definitely not done.
Indian Entertainment is already banned there. They also live in an International world, maybe.
And then boycotting is a legal way of protest and as much as a freedom to enjoy as is FOE. Banning is yet another legal way at a higher level by authorities to show displeasure towards the banned content. So, if people can advocate freedom of expression, y do d same people get their butts hurt when otgers are enjoying their freedom and expressing their displeasures in a non violent way.
They have a larger approach doesn't mean that they are the ultimate authosrity or a reflection, or a representative, of our society.

thats the double standard for some people in india and also if you voice out your opinion then you're not patriot. They even come and start explaining how our actors don't plan or feed terrorists.. God!
