REVEALED:Reason for the delay of Kareena Kapoor's Veere Di Wedding

Kareena Kapoor's pregnancy and her opting to work during maternity is the hottest topic making rounds. Initial speculations said that Kareena would be backing out of the project because of her pregnancy. But later it was rubbished stating that, according to the original script, Kapoor was supposed to play a role of a pregnant woman.

Later it was rumoured that the shoot is being delayed because of Kareena's health issues, but the producers cleared the air stating the rumours are false and Kareena would start shooting in the month of August. But that eventually didn't happen.

Next rumours were that the co-producer of the film, Ekta Kapoor had backed out of the project, stating budgetary issues. A source had revealed, "It looks like the project has hit a stumbling block yet again, as Balaji has backed out from the project, and to save losses, Anil Kapoor had met T-series but it didn't work out well. Although Kareena was paid 2cr. already in advance as her fee." Balaji had refuted rumours.

The most recent update was given by the line producer of the film, Ravi Sarin, he said, "Kareena has to play a pregnant woman in the film, but it had major budget issues and hence been post-poned till an indefinite time. They might start the film in a few months."
