Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh has been loved by the audience, both on and off the screens.

Recently, Deepika even grabbed the 10th position in the Forbes' list of the highest paid actress in the world and was the only Bollywood actress in the top ten list.

From what we hear now, she has also been paid a huge sum- 11 Crores for her next flick 'Padmavati' where she will be seen with her beau Ranveer Singh.

Buzz is that, Ranveer who is the male lead in the film is paid much lesser than what Dippy has been offered. As per sources, he is geeting around 7- 8 Crores. Now, that's indeed a huge difference.

But, owing to her talent and now that she is also a global name, it's justified of Deepika to demand that much.

And who says, woman can never beat a man in the industry? Here's an evident example of a woman power!

Waah! Priyanka Chauhan! Just to get a lousy sensational title did not stop you from selling your own gender.
How about writing SRK beats Kajol or Madhuri or Juhi? Aamir beats Kareena? Salman beats Sonakshi?
Why is Deepika earning more such a big deal? And that too Ranveer? Just because they could be dating? You claim to write an article to uplift the female gender and then bring the gender down by comparing Ranveer pay to Deepika pay. All for a lousy eye grabbing article. Shame on you Priyanka Chauhan!!

If she is getting paid because of her market power and achievements, why focus on her gender?

On the one hand, you talk about star power, and the article makes it seem like she was paid more BECAUSE she is a woman.

This article is a covert form of gender discrimination. Why even make a mention of gender if you feel that star power is what dictates payment?

Anyone in Bollywood would agree that Deepika is a more experienced actor and a bigger name globally than Ranveer. So, why make it a matter of gender at all?
