Pirivom Sandhipom is a story of two sisters, Revathy and Jyothi. Revathy is brought up by her uncle Shanmugaraja. Revathy is much prettier in the family and her cousin sister Jyothi is her best friend as well. Life is pleasant for Revathy until the society and the family discriminates her from Jyothi for her beauty. She is treated rude and harsh just because she is prettier than Jyothi. But both the sisters' love each other and are good natured but the society does not allow them to be what they are. In due course Revathy is treated like a step-daughter in the house and feels punished for her good looks. Jyothi's unconditional love makes her going, but to what extent?
