In this episode of Gumrah Ek Pal Ki Naadani, Karan Kundra sheds light on Kanak Dagar, an ambitious girl who yearns to study but is inhibited by her family because of her gender. Kumar, her brother gets hold of a love letter written to her and threatens to put an end to her studies. She is repeatedly raped by him and his friends until she gets pregnant. The family learns the truth and kills her to save their reputation. Her teacher files a complaint with the police and the family is arrested.
