Sanchi suspects Krishnanand of foul play. She asks him for the original property papers. Krishnanand cooks up a lie to hide the truth. Sadanand falsely projects about Krishnanad's office being robbed along with Tarachand's property papers. Krishnanand shows his true colours and refuses to return Tarachand's money. Sadanand and Krishnanand share the money and bribe the corrupt policeman who had pretended to investigate the robbery. Tarachand advises Sanchi not to give up hope.
