Kokila becomes enraged when Ramji calls Gopi and orders her to prepare pickle. The Modi family decides to pay fifteen lakh rupees to Ramji and break the contract to save Gopi. Gopi reads Amrit Manthan and plans to fight Ramji for her business. She tells Ahem not to pay the money to Ramji. Kokila and Ahem disapprove of her decision whereas the rest of the family supports her. Urmila reveals to the family that Ramji is Jeetu's college friend and promises to help them teach a lesson to him.
