Dear Drashti, never watched Hindi serials because of the ladies loud outfits, too much jewelery & make up; artificial dialogue delivery, negativity etc. Then one June Sunday I came across a show in which the lead was wearing pastel dresses and just a cute kanbali, both the leads were handsome & smart; they had an amazing sizzling chemistry, they were sparkling together. Star one was showing one week's back to back episodes of the office track. That was it! I was fascinated & spell bound - never missed any episode. I learn Hindi to understand the lovely dialogue delivered so realistic way by Gurti. their outstanding performances, their unique bonding, their real expressions, mutual understanding, their timing, their rapport-making Geet & Maan alive for me & made me love them more & more each passing days. Geet & Maan were not fictional characters any more-they were part of my family, part of my life. Drashti Dhami & Gurmet Choudhury lived as Geet & Maan in GHSP and created an unique phenomenon, a mesmerising magic, an epitome of love called Maaneet. A dream of eternal, pure, divine, ethereal, unconditional & ultimate love. Together they have created a magical & musical couple who has become legendary as Shiri-Forhad & Romeo-Juliet. Maaneet is admired & taken to their hearts by millions of fans worldwide, created something so unique & magical that it has broken the wall between dream & reality. Loved Gurti as much as Maaneet. They became my life, my happiness, my imagination, my solace, my inspiration. Together Maaneet/Gurti was magical & so beautiful It is very difficult to let go of something so precious so near & dear to my heart. I hope God will listen our pleas & give us back our GURTI as soon as possible. Ameen.
