Today I am going to talk about Geet's BDay party - the set up was classy, theme was wonderful - men in black & women in pinkish red. Geet's saree was so unique - stripe border with beautiful motives placed in various places; the jewelery Maan given to Geet was exquisite (I think in SBS seg Drashti liked a similar piece in the jewelery shop with her Mum). The best part was Maan adorning Geet lovingly with those.
The grandeur way Mrs Geet Khurana came down the stairs in her husband's arm was really elegant. The song choice & the dance moves were very very good - Maaneet dance is always mesmerizing, the way Maaneet compliment each other, get lost in each other is a pleasure to watch. Loved the TT version of the dance more than the epi, the way Maan kissed Geet's hand and then touched her hand on his forehead was really sweet. It reminds me of Maaneet wedding when Maan took Geet's hand from Dalji & put it on his forehead. This little gestures, little smiles, little sign languages make Maaneet so unique - league of their own. We were straining our eyes to catch the glimps of Geet swirling, twirling, bending on her back in Maan's hands, embracing each other through Preeto's blockage of the vision. When Melani came in to snatch Geet from Maan's arm - that was so cruel - broke our heart. However, loved the way Maaneet were enjoying with the full cast at the end. The TT segment was a treat - it gave us great pleasure.
I am not a young fan, yet I have seen it 10 times! Imagine 2,25,000 fans watching 14 minutes of TT magic 10 times each - which may equals to many year's worth of entertainment!! Thanks to Maaneet for giving us the enjoyment. May God give Gurti as much enjoyment in life as they give us as Maaneet.
Long live GHSP - Long live Marvelous Maaneet - Long live Glorious Gurti.
