Ladies Special Synopsis

Tuesday, October 20, 2009:

Though Pooja had taken a bold step by threatening to take Karan to the police, but she is scared of the repercussions, especially on her mother. Pooja shares her anxiety with Kamini and is relived when her mother calls to inform that Karan has left Dhanbad. Vinny hopes that Pooja will come to the bank the next day to get her loan issue resolved. Finally Vinny's bank loan is approved in Pooja’s presence, confirming Vinny's belief that Pooja is his good luck charm. Pooja wakes up in the midst of the night when she hears doorbell and is shocked to see Karan at the doorstep. Karan barges in and creates a ruckus. Trisha looks towards Geeti for help when she is ragged in the train but Geeti stands across nervously. Trisha is saved by a gentleman in the train. Geeti tries to tell Trisha that she was trying to help her, but Trisha walks past her.

Thursday, October 01, 2009:

Nanda warns Pooja to be alert about Karan as he will not give up easily. Next day Karan prepares to go out with Kamini, and informs Pooja that he is not going be home tonight. Trisha and Geeti who have joined the same college have a tiff. Karan tries calling Kamini while he waits to meet her, but her phone is unavailable. Karan calls Mr. Chaddha to inquire about Kamini; Mr. Chaddha denies knowing any Kamini. Karan looses his temper on Mr. Chaddha. Thereafter, Karan goes to the same building where he had left Kamini, but the guards throw him out. Karan figures out that he has been conned. He returns back home in a bad mood, that’s when it is revealed that Pooja and Kamini are party to this plot against him.

Thursday, September 17, 2009:

The Shinde family ensures that they keep Geeti in the best of the spirits as Geeti is still traumatised. Karan comes across Kamini at the gym and is attracted to her. Pooja tells her Ladies Special mates about how her Dhanbad house is in crisis because of Karan. Pooja reveal her plan to get back the house from Karan to her friends. While Karan is discussing investment plan with friends at a caf, he comes across Kamini and impresses her with his smooth talk and confirms to meet her next day at gym. Vasu and Trisha get into a tiff and Trisha promises that she will ensure she hurts them further. Trisha returns home late in the night with a few friends, one of whom tries to get cozy with her. Shubha is shocked to see this sight from the balcony.

Thursday, September 10, 2009:

Nanda, Shiwam get into an argument to give money to Pathare. Finally Shiwam agrees with Nanda, Nanda goes to Pathare and asks him the requirement for money. Pathare tells her, minimum 2 lacs can be arranged. In order to arrange the fund, Shivam meets his relative to get financial help, these relative ask him to pull water form well to get the money. Shivam tries hard to pull water from the well to get the money. Bubbly asks Mintoo if she can offer financial help to Nanda from the fund they have collected for their kids future. Shiwam fails in the task set by his relative to remove water from the well.

Tuesday, September 08, 2009:

Nanda decides that she will not let her morale down, as she is the back bone of the family. Next day Nanda goes in the train, where she meets her Ladies Special friends and tells them that she is putting her bet on a losing horse. Nanda meets Pathare, a lawyer by profession for Geeti’s case. Vinny helps Trisha repair her bike. Karan once again irritates Pooja and continues sexually exploiting her.

Tuesday, August 25, 2009:

Nanda tells Geeti about going to police and informing about how Jassi died. Geeti gets very nervous, but Nanda calms her down. Shiwam who was initially skeptical decides to support Nanda. They reveal the entire detail of Jassi's murder; they convince the police that they would themselves bring Geeti to police station after Ganesh Visarjan. Shubha and Vinni wait for Trisha at the breakfast table, but she refuses to come out. Bubbly and Shubha meet in the train and wonder if Nanda has brought in Ganpati. They visit Nanda's house to give her support, and are shocked to see police walking out of their house. Trisha, alone in the house goes through the old pictures of Joshi family; just then Vasu spots her and get into an argument. Trisha traps herself in a room, but finally opens the door and announces that she will not leave this house till she gets her rights. Nanda and Shiwam bump into Randhawa outside the police station. Randhawa bad mouths Geeti and accuses her of Jassi's murder.

Thursday, August 20, 2009:

Shivam, Nanda and Geeti reach the farmhouse, Geeti starts getting some flashes. They enter the house discreetly; Geeti faintly starts remembering the incidents of that day. Finally Geeti runs away from the house, just like she did on that day...Geeti gets further flashes of the incidents… how Jassi was also running behind her....Shubha welcomes Trisha home, Trisha gives a cold shoulder to everyone in the house, especially she shares a displeased equation with Vasu. Vasu gets extremely furious on this kind of behaviour from Trisha. She complains to Shubha about Trisha, but Shubha understands, what she must be going through. Geeti reaches the location, where Jassi died. She gets hysterical and finally screams.... I killed Jassi.

Set against the backdrop of Indian railways, the lifeline of India’s biggest metropolis, Mumbai, the four women - Shubha Joshi (Neena Gupta), Nanda Shinde (Shilpa Tulaskar), Pooja Singh (Payal Sarkar) & Bubbly Chaddha (Ashita Dhawan) meet in the Ladies Special train, which has become their own world, a place where they find their space, a place where they can be themselves and share some blissful moments away from home.

Thursday, August 06, 2009:

Geeti spends some quality time with her family before leaving for camp to Karjat with Yash. Though the Shindes are worried sending Geeti alone, they are confident that this time nothing would go wrong with their daughter. Geeti spots Jassi near her camp area. Vinni once again pushes Shubha to come along with him to Canada. Eventually Vinni stays back in India. Just then the lawyer comes and breaks the news of the house being divided amongst four people - Shubha, Vinni, Vasu and Mallaya. All of them are unaware of who Mallaya is?

Tuesday, July 28, 2009:

Vipul rush to hospital to see Shubha, but seeing Vipul around Shubha over reacts and humiliates him. Nanda reaches home with a college admission form for her daughter Geeti. Pooja is restless with wahtever Karan has done to her and she makes up her mind to voice it out. She reaches police station and complains against Karan. Shubha is discharged from the hospital; she gets a call to ask about her health from Mangala, she also asks Shubha about Vipul's. At the same time Inspector confirms about karan's arrest with pooja, she gives a go ahead. Kanak comes to visit Shubha and she gets into an argument with Shubha for being admant about Vipul. Police arrests Karan for domestic violence.

Thursday, July 16, 2009:

Nanda and Bubbly supports Pooja, and decided to get justice from tyagi; Assure that the Ladies special will support Pooja for justice. Nanda remembers Mamta, who works with a news channel and was a fellow passenger in their ladies special. Mamta along with the ladies special women makes a plan to do a sting operation on Tyagi. Pooja is nervous with the thought, seeing the support from the ladies special agrees to do a sting operation on Tyagi. Bubbly encourages Pooja to call Tyagi and trap him, initially Tyagi is hesitant to talk to her, but Pooja with a sugar coated tone apologises for what she did. Tyagi calls Pooja at a hotel room where other ladies were already stationed. Bubbly and Mamta helps Pooja fix the camera in her bag; other women are all prepared for emergency. Tyagi once again tries to get close to Pooja, and offer her drink. But all her efforts goes in vein when she gets caught in an attempt to adjust the hidden camera.

Thursday, July 09, 2009:

Nanda is shocked to see Geeti's picture in the newspaper. Pooja tries to avoid the client meeting but Tyagi threatens her that if she does not attend this client meeting, she may even loose her job. Pooja has no choice but to give in to Tyagi's pressure, she calls Karan to inform that she needs to attend a meeting scheduled tonight. Karan though is aware about the meeting he pretends to be naive. Shubha is struggling to survive in the house on her own. Shivam tries to cheer up Geeti after the traumatic night, but she is still in the setback, meanwhile when Nanda reaches home she gets a call from the police station informing about the arrival of drug test reports. Pooja reaches the hotel with Mr. Mehta; however he sneaks away from the hotel, making an excuse, while he asks Pooja to attend the client in his room, till he comes back. When Pooja reaches the room, she is shocked to see Karan there. Karan accuses Pooja of bad character and walks out on her

Thursday, July 02, 2009:

Shubha opts not to see the other woman in Vipul's life and refuses to hear any justification from Vipul. In the middle of the night Shubha starts washing Vipul's clothes and cleaning his belongings, in order to get rid of Vipul’s memories with the woman. Bubbly keeps waiting to travel in her own car, but Raunak does not yet seem to be back from Shirdi. Meanwhile, Geeti gets to know from her friends that the party is scheduled to go on for the whole night; she flatly refuses to be a part of this party. Karan is scheduled to meet Tyagi at his office, while Pooja steps out of office to meet Karan for lunch. After spending days with the thought of Vipul having a relationship with other woman for 30 years, Shubha finally steps out of Vipul's house.

Thursday, June 18, 2009:

Mintoo and Babli request Shikhar to hold the car for them, as they will come with the money. Biji and other society members are ready with arti, waiting for Chaddha’s to bring the new car but a chaos is created when they arrive in auto. Mangala oils Shubha’s hair, when she starts thinking of Vipul pressing her forehead. Vipul comes with tea for Shubha but instead she goes to her room and locks it. Nanda puts a good luck card next to Giti’s pillow. Commuters in the train push Bubbly for a party for getting a new car. At the station, Nanda and Shivam talk about going to Giti’s competition. Giti calls and thanks for card. Pooja tries to tell her mother the truth about her marriage but Karan shows up and stops her from doing so.

Thursday, June 11, 2009:

Shubha gets felicitated by her office. Karan tells Pooja that they should stay at home together and cook for Pooja's mother. Pooja tells him about Shubha's retirement felicitation, but Karan insists. Shubha tells Bubbly about her felicitation. While coming back Shubha gives gifts to Nanda, Bubbly and Pooja. Meanwhile, Nitin and Vasu arrange a surprise party at home. At home Vipul informs Shubha about going to Pune. After Vipul leaves for Pune Shubha gets a call which says that Mrs. Joshi is dead.

Thursday, June 04, 2009:

The doctor informs Nanda that Hina is 8 months pregnant and she needs to be taken care of. He also says that the treatment is going to consume more money and Nanda says he will organise it. Mintoo is worried bout increasing EMI’s as they get their new TV. Bbli tells people in he train about her new TV. Pooja tells Karan that her mother is coming. Karan is not happy but doesn't react violently. Karan tells her about the new car and gets Pooja to sign the installment papers. Deshmukh jokes with Shubha and finally tells her that she has got her VRS. Desai asks Vipul how he will manage if Shubha takes VRS.

Thursday, May 28, 2009:

Nanda (Shilpa Tulaskar) and Shivam drop Gitika for her picnic. Nanda is worried that Gitika hasn’t called her throughout the day. In the evening, to comfort Nanda, Shivam lies to her saying that Gitika did call him. Though at night Nanda gets to know that he lied. Pooja (Payal Sarkar) gets robbed of her mangalsootra in the train. Panicked, she gets down at the next station to find the robber. Shubha (Neena Gupta) comes to help Pooja. They file FIR. Shubha goes with Pooja to drop her home. But Pooja doesn’t want Shubha to come to her house as she is scared of Karan’s reaction to this incidence. When Karan comes to know about this, he beats Pooja and throws her out of the home.
