Seeta Aur Geeta Synopsis

Friday, August 21, 2009:

Seeta & Geeta attend a Ganesh Chaturthi murti staphana puja. The puja is taking place at the same temple wherein Seeta’s parents used to go for darshan prior to their demise. Seeta & Geeta meet for the very first time during the aarti. Their first meeting will also set the stage for the revelation of the truth that Seeta & Geeta are twins who were separated at birth.

Monday, June 01, 2009:

Raka tells Geeta that she should find a nice man and get married. Geeta tells Raka that she will not get married to any random guy. Geeta talks about her Prince Charming… a suave, sophisticated, dashing man…who’ll come & sweep her off her feet. Suraj played by Cezanne khan just walks in…

Wednesday, May 27, 2009:

Raka is an auto driver & Geeta’s best friend. Geeta’s brain & Raka’s brawn together make for an unbeatable combination wherein they face all obstacles & overcome all problems together. Geeta convinces a nervous Raka to make his speech for the election of the President of the Auto Driver’s Association. Terrified of public speaking, Raka tries to wrangle his way out but Geeta goads him into making the speech. As Raka gains confidence & starts speaking, his competitor in the election – Pramod Khatre feels insecure. Seeing the crowd’s enthusiastic reaction to Raka’s speech, Pramod’s supporters tells him that this time Raka will win the election. Pramod’s plans to get Raka out of his way.

Tuesday, May 26, 2009:

Geeta rushes Bablu to the hospital. As news of the accident reaches Seeta’s house – Chachi holds her responsible for Bablu’s critical condition. At the hospital, Chachi & Geeta collide into each other. Chachi gets enraged & calls Geeta ‘sadakchaap’. Never the one to take an insult lying down, Geeta gets ready to give Chachi a taste of her own medicine.

Monday, May 25, 2009:

Seeta is tortured & suffers humiliation at the hands of her evil step Chachi. Desirous of usurping Seeta’s wealth, her evil step Chacha & Chachi ill treat her – reducing her to become the servant of the house where she is intended to be the princess of. Dadi’s prayers & her step brother Bablu’s love provide the only solace in Seeta’s sorrowful existence. Meanwhile, Geeta helps an old lady in her basti recover her house from the local goons. Geeta is the lovable tomboy & Robin Hood of her basti as she helps the needy & downtrodden. Fate makes Seeta & Geeta’s worlds come together as Bablu meets with an accident in the vicinity of Geeta’s basti. As Geeta rushes to help him; Bablu mistakes her for his didi – Seeta.
