Seeta: Brought up as the apple of her parents eyes, surrounded by all the luxurious trappings of life. Fate deals a cruel blow as her parents untimely death places Seeta in the custody of her step Chacha & Chachi. Left in the hands of her evil Chacha & Chachi who have their eyes set on her fortune; Seeta grows up as a shy & timid girl leading a tortured existence in the very home she is intended to be princess of. Seeta has no hopes or dreams of a normal life. Dadi's prayers & her cousin brother Bablu's love provide the only solace & support in Seeta's dismal existence. Geeta: Grows up to become a street smart, savvy & bindaas girl capable of taking care of herself.

An old but loyal servant at Seeta's home, his priorities lie in his duty towards Seeta's deceased parents. He does his best to make Seeta's life as bearable as possible, often being punished for his efforts.

Eyes on Seeta’s fortune after death of Seeta’s Parents and continues to torture her. Life takes a turn when Seeta is switched and Geeta takes her place.

Post her parent’s untimely death, Seeta was left in the custody of her step Chacha & Chachi. They await the day when Seeta will turn 21 & they will be able to forcibly get her married off & usurp her wealth. Due to their constant torture, Seeta grows up as a timid, fearful girl; becoming the servant of the house she was intended to be princess of. The tables are turned when Geeta enters the house & avenges the injustice done to Seeta.

Sulbha Arya

as: Dadi

Being the only adult family member who thinks, speaks and prays for Seeta, she finds herself helpless in front of Chacha and Chachi's tyrany. Her only hope lies in her faith that God would turn things around one day for her precious grandchild. But when Chacha-Chachi's greed crosses the limit of tolerance she urges Seeta to leave the haveli to save her life and freedom.
