Lux Dance India Dance Synopsis

This week will see the return of everyone’s darling Paulson Thomas who got evicted a couple of weeks back on medical grounds. The most excited amongst all was of course mentor, Geeta Kapoor, because after the retreat of most of her pupils except Siddhesh Pai, Paulson is the only trump card on whom she is banking the most.

Paulson teamed up with Nonie gave a very endearing performance on ‘aapdi podi’. Said an ecstatic Geeta, “Both Nonie and Paulson are very dear to me. We share a relation beyond mentor and student. They all are my extended family. I had selected this song especially for Paulson and its Terence’s favourite too.”

‘I am so grateful to God, to Mithun Da and Zee TV for giving me a second chance’. Back home nobody took my passion for dance seriously. Being an electrician by profession and my dark skin only added to my woes….’ said a teary eyed Paulson when Saumya complimented him on how handsome he was looking.

Hearing this young guy’s doleful outburst an otherwise reticent Remo could not contain himself and gave out his similar past when he was slated in the film industry for his dark skin. But his patience, perseverance and dedication towards dance paid off eventually and today Remo is a name to reckon with in the industry.

It seemed like history was repeating itself on Lux Dance India Dance when Mithun da narrated his struggling days in the industry when he was too condemned for his dark and unconventional looks amongst his peers. His rags to riches story was a proof enough to proclaim the fact that hard work and dedication can never let down anyone. ‘Paulson buddy…aajkal zamaana hai tall, dark handsome ka….fair skin is just a myth…’ chuckled the veteran actor.

Salman Khan rocks in Lux Dance India Dance

There was a big rumpus about the Sunehri taqdeer ki topi (golden hat) which the final winner would get at the end. The hosts, Jay and Saumya had misplaced the topi and Mithun da reprimands them for being so careless. Finally the undisputed king of bollywood Salman Khan enters the show with the sunehri topi donned in his fingers. He spoke about his mother Helen, the dancing queen of the yesteryears and her exceptional dancing skills. He was present on the show to wish everyone good luck in this dance filled journey.

Salman being Salman kept everybody's request by coming on the stage and dancing impromptu with the participants on the song ," jeene ke hain chaar din". He spoke about his association with the three mentors. Remo is choreographing London dreams for him. He was thoroughly impressed by the performances of all the participants. Told the mentors, "tum log hamare liye toh kabhi aisi choreography nahi karte". "Why such a biased treatment??"

An endearing interaction between a participant Rakhi and salman leaves everyone in fits of laughter. She told him that everyone teases her for her poor Hindi. In the AV she says Abhishek is her favourite hero but on meeting Salman, she tells him, apart from Abhishek ; her all time favourite has been Anil Kapoor. "I was in love with him since I was a kid". To which Salman says , "I wonder how old were you when you fell for him??? Considering his age and yours , I think you were in love with him even before you were born". Salman says he would surely pass on this message to Anil Kapoor and also kiss him on her behalf J.

All the performances were stupendous and were lauded heavily by both Salman and Mithun da. Noni gets excellent remarks for her high energy & grace. Salman compares her with his own mom Salma and people like Saroj Khan and Ganesh Acharya who are fat yet graceful. All the contestants got hugs and blessings from Sallu Bhai. One requested him to open his shirt. To which he said, "main har bar shirt utaar ta hoon. Abhi shirt utarte utarte main thak gaya hoon…. Abhi main pant utarta hoon." Finally shows his body ( heavily built for his movie, "VEER").

Paulson Thomas, a participant from Kerala requested, "Sir this is a dream come true….can I come and touch u?? to which Sallu countered," ofcourse u can touch me….but where do u wanna touch me….???"

All the choreographers got huge appreciation from Mithun da and Salman Bhai. Paulson Thomas was rewarded for being the best dancer of the episode. Many light moments were shared between Salman & Mithun da and the mentors. Geeta got emotional after her protégé Paulson got rewarded for being the best dancer of the evening.
