At the dinner table Shiv says about selling their house and retaining the shop,. He prepares to leave for his singing assignment at the hotel restaurant , before exiting the door he reiterate, about going for Madhubala's offer as it can change their lives for good.

Monday, October 27, 2008:

Madhubala leaves hari niwas telling Sharma, the offer still stands if they change their mind. Naren tells Lakshmi in this short time only a bank loan can get them out of the trouble, but they will have to lease the house to the bank as security for the loan. Savitri will not agree to that.

Thursday, October 16, 2008:

Chander has come to madhubala with the information she had asked for about the Sharma family. He tells her the Sharma family is in financial despair, they lost the head of family recently, there is a girl of marriageable age and the only source of income to the family is a cloths shop located in the Bara Bazaar, which too is now on lease from Parsuramia.

Tuesday, October 14, 2008:

Lakshmi's pondering comes to an end when Aditya tells her that he wanted to put his first earnings as a cricket coach in Babuji ka pitara as his contribution. Laskhmi refuses to accept Naren's gift, a purse and tells him that he should instead buy a cricket kit for Aditya, from the same money. Days have gone by, the entire Sharma family has gathered in front of Babuji ka pitara to count the money they have collected so far.

Monday, October 13, 2008:

Gunjan tries to tell Nupur about how Samrat sang in front of the whole college for her when suddenly Mayank intervenes and starts talking about the upcoming events in the college with Nupur, though Mayank is talking about the college project while Nupur’s talking about the talent parade.

Thursday, October 09, 2008:

Naren meets the jeweler at his shop and asks for the haar, he is shocked to know that the jeweler has already sold it to someone Naren leaves and informs lakshmi about this. Savitri leaves for the temple after waiting for the jeweler who is late.

Tuesday, October 07, 2008:

Lakshmi asks Kalayni what is troubling her. Kalayani tells her, Savitri is not used to see them not wearing any jewelry and she sooner or later would come to know the truth. Lakshmi tell her not to worry, she has a way out of this. The jeweler comes to Hari niwas to take orders for Kamakshi's wedding

Naren and Viraat question Lakshmi and Kalyani about the money they give them. Lakshmi tells them if family members can be together in good times then they should also contribute when the going gets tough and asks Viraat and naren to trust them. The men give in

Thursday, October 02, 2008:

Lakshmi tells Naren to stop Viraat from asking Shiv for money. Brothers leave shiv's room without talking to him about money. When they ask Lakshmi, why she stopped them, she says it is shiv who is affected the most after Babuji's death and they should not burden him anymore by asking him for money now.

Tuesday, September 30, 2008:

Dadaji is back at Hari Niwas and feels happy to be amongst everyone. Virat –kalyani, Shiv- Indu and Narendra- Laxmi are all disturbed at babuji’s condition but all pretend to be normal in front of him. Hari Prasad expresses the desire to go to the shop and Virat takes him along.

Thursday, September 25, 2008:

Lakshmi overhears the truth about the gold chain. Savitri notices the mangalsutra is still missing from Kalyani’s neck. Even at dinner time Kalyani is missing because she has no answer to the missing mangalsutra

Wednesday, September 24, 2008:

Kalyani comes out of her room and sees Laxmi. Laxmi is emotional seeing Kalyani sacrifice. Meanwhile Virat goes to the jeweller and mortgages the mangalsutra and from there he goes to his shop to get the gifts for guests.

Tuesday, September 23, 2008:

Hari Prasad drinks the kadha with ease and tells Laxmi that she is like a daughter to him. Shiv has composed a new song and as usual wants Savitri to hear it first. She is too occupied with household works to lend an ear.

Monday, September 22, 2008:

Ladies of the Sharma family are preparing to welcome the newly wedded couple in the house. Hari Prasad comes with the Baarat and is welcomed by everyone. Laxmi is introduced to the members of the family. Hari Prasad feels relieved that all is responsibilities have been taken care of.
