Arasi & Anjali
Radhika Sarathkumar appears in a dual role as both mother and daughter. On the one hand she plays Senthamizharase, a respected and successful IPS officer, who refuses to let the ghosts of her past disrupt the harmonious family life she leads with her husband, retired Judge Karthigeyan (played by Sivachandran) and two children, Udhay and Kalai.
Arase's daughter, Chelvi, meanwhile perseveres against her husband GJ, recently released from prison and trying to poison their teenaged daughter Kaveri's mind. Everyone comes to Chelvi for help, which she gladly gives, but no one seems able to help her reconcile with her birth mother.
Both Arase and Chelvi face a powerful enemy in the form of the international terrorist Nallathamby. As Nallathamby's evil plot moves closer to taking off, will mother and daughter unite to stop him before he kills thousands, maybe millions, of people?
"Anjali" is the story about a brave girl who wants to become IAS. But fate is against her wishes & she marries Ashok who is son the owner of Maya mills chakravarthi.She comes to know about fate of real owner of maya mills Chidambaram. She fights & gets back the wealth of Maya ,chidambram's Wife & gives it to Raja the son of Maya.She undergoes so much torture in the hands of ashok & atlast goes to jail to save her Sister.She passes IAS exam from jail but could not get posting as collector as she has criminal charges against her. So she leaves jail & goes away from her relatives heart broken & meets baby anjali who takes her to Kanchi.Here she faces new challenges from arunachalam, inspector & Jeeva ratnam,EX-MLA.And her new friends are thulasi,collector(arunachalam's wife)& doctor Subbu.How she overcomes new challenges will be seen in coming episodes.
