Siddhesh Pai's aerial act almost left him stranded in thin air, that could have been detrimental to his career. However, the brave dancer got back the momentum and managed to complete the act with grace..

Siddhesh Pai has never tried out an aerial act on Zee TV's Dance India Dance for certain reasons, and this really pushed him to try his hand at it in Star Plus' Zara Nachke Dikha.

The occasion could not have been better than the episode dedicated to Mothers which they shot recently. As part of the Group dance, Siddhesh Pai, Abhishek Awasthi, Aksshat and Angad Hasija prepared for an aerial act dedicated to the Mother's Day celebrations.

Siddhesh in particular was upbeat of performing this aerial act, and had gone about his practise sessions very well. However, on the actual day of shoot he lost balance when he was doing the aerial act some 20 ft above the ground. He just held on to the tip hold of the satin cloth, but put up a big effort to gain balance and get back to completing the act with the same zeal.

When contacted, Siddhesh Pai said, "It was a shocking moment for me and my mother who was witnessing my performance. I was performing the aerial act at a height of 20 ft. I lost balance and was just hanging in thin air with my little finger holding the tip hold of the satin cloth. If I had fallen from there, I would have had a major injury which could have shaken my career. But my only thought then was to complete the act, and prove to all that I too can perform an aerial act. With all the experience that I have had so far, I managed to get up again, and complete the act".

The judges reacted emotionally on seeing Siddhesh completing the act with grace. "Arshad Warsi came up to the stage and got emotional. Even Shilpa and Vaibhavi were moved with my act. I am glad that the judges appreciated my act and praised me", states Siddhesh.

Siddhesh was very particular that he completes the act in style for two reasons. "The main reason was that my mother was seeing the act, and I had to give this gift to her on Mother's Day. The other was that we were performing this group act for Sushant Singh's mother who is not with us now. Sushant had lost his mother two years back, and was upset that he could not perform for his mother on the day. So this act of ours was dedicated to his mother too", quips Siddhesh.

Last but not the least Siddhesh states that it is only because of God and his mother's blessings, that he could escape the incident and perform well.
