Akangsha Rawat the lead of Sony's Palampur Express hosted a birthday party for her very close friends and colleagues on September 11th in Malad.

Akangsha Rawat who plays the lead in Sony's Palampur Express hosted her birthday party on the 11th September at the New Hangout Joint, Hotel Homtel, Malad.

The party was kept for very close friends and colleagues from her Sony show. The party went on till the wee hours, with everyone dancing away to glory. They indeed proved that actors not only work hard, they party even harder.

Akangsha who has lost nearly 6 kg of weight to fit in the role of the athlete in Palampur Express looked gorgeous.  Manav Gohil and Shweta Kawatra came fashionably late but stayed on till the end of the party. Kirti Kelkar for the first time was seen without hubby Sharad Kelkar. Pracheen Chauhan who is presently in Swarg literally burned the dance floor.

Tanya Abrol, the Chak De girl and Tanvi Thakkar had a whale of a time too. Megha Gupta, Rakesh Paul and Siddharth also graced the occasion. Sakshi Talwar of Ranbir Rano fame, Abhir Goswami and Vaibhavi Upadhyay, who are the best pals of Akangsha were also present.

Akangsha the birthday girl was heard saying, "We all had a ball. My closest friends were there with me. They are like my family to me. It wasn't a regular media party, it was almost like a house party with pals getting together and having fun. With Palampur Express doing well now, I thought it a good time to celebrate".

South Indian super star Mallika came with boy friend Ajay Balhara. However, the best part was that all were amazed to see a look-alike of Shiney Ahuja at the party. Actually the Ass. Creative of Palampur Express Aditya Shah has an uncannt resembalance to Shiney. So everyone at one glance were shocked to see him there..

The party continued till the wee hours of the night all were seen having fun on the dance floor..
