Aap Ki Kachehri, a pioneering show on Star Plus, has now created a movement of hope with people in the country endeavoring to resolve their disputes mutually and amicably.

STAR Plus and Dr. Kiran Bedi, the anchor of the show, India's first woman IPS officer and Noble Laureate has spearheaded an Aap Ki Kachehri movement across the country with the aim of gathering peoples' support in spreading the message of hope, optimism and peaceful co-existence.

The first leg of the march was flagged off in Mumbai from the streets of Dadar where people came out to support and cheer Dr. Bedi as she led the march with the Aap Ki Kachehri flag waving high. Preceding the march, Dr. Kiran Bedi traveled on the Mumbai local train from Marine Lines to Dadar and interacted freely with people around her, about their rights and duties as citizens of India.

Star Plus is now taking this initiative to other cities around India, and Dr. Kiran Bedi is set to visit Ahmedabad, Indore and Lucknow on August 8, 10 and 12 respectively and strengthen the Aap Ki Kachehri movement by gathering more support from all corners.

Speaking on this initiative, Anupam Vasudev, EVP, Marketing, STAR India said, "We have had an unprecedented support of people from across India who immensely value Kiran Bedi's advice. There has been a social awakening in India and people are eager to join STAR Plus and Dr. Bedi in their endeavor to bring about a positive change. Through this on ground activity - Umeed Ki Nayi Lehar, we are offering people a chance to join us in spreading hope of resolution across India."

Added Dr Kiran Bedi, "I am very happy with the overwhelming response we have received for this initiative in Mumbai and am confident that the same will resonate in other cities as well. Umeed Ki Nayee Lehar spreads hope and optimism amongst disputing parties and we hope to reach out to more people and create awareness."

With its highly looked forward to return on television, Aap Ki Kachehri is set to showcase more cases from across the length and breadth of the country.  Also expanding its offerings, Aap Ki Kachehri will cover various types of disputes ranging from family, civil, marital, business etc.

New cases, unbiased mediation and wider reach, STAR Plus' Aap Ki Kachehri Kiran Ke Saath promises to entertain and engage while initiating an impactful movement in the society and the lives of millions of viewers.
