Rajshri Productions' Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki on Sahara One
achieved a major feat on June 17th, as the show completed 1000 episodes. On this occasion, the production house organized a pooja in which were seen Producer Kavita Barjatya and her brother and famous director Sooraj Barjatya.
This was followed by a cake cutting ceremony. Lastly a special screening of the 1000th episode was held for everyone present.
The lead actress Reena Kapoor
was looking very gorgeous in a white lacy embroidered saree teamed with a yellow strappy blouse. She tried to downplay her part for the success of the show and kept shying away from the camera. Thanks to Kavita, Reena was eventually dragged to the spotlight. Reena told us, "I have had a wonderful time working with Kavita and the whole team of Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon ki. And if given an option between shows, Rajshri Productions will always receive top preference".
Even in a simple cotton shirt, the lead actor Karan Grover
looked the usual dashing self. Wherever he went he made sure he turned the atmosphere lively. He enthusiastically says, "To be very frank, this is the first time ever in my life that any show I am associated with has reached its 1000th episode. And it's an absolutely great feeling to reach this position".
The Producer Kavita Barjatya
, one of the few female producers in the television industry was indeed very ecstatic. She says, "I'm thankful to my family and the whole team of the show for supporting me in every step. This show would not have been successful if not for them".
Aamir Ali, who was earlier paired with Reena Kapoor
in the show was also present with the team to enjoy the occasion. He states, "It's a long time since I came out for partying. I had to attend this because this is the 1000th episode celebration of one of my favorite serials, and I wanted to be part of the celebration as the team would feel happy".
The other cast members of the show including Bhairavi Raichura
, Poonam Gulati
and many of the child artistes were also present at the event. Reporter: Ranjini Nair
