The opening episode of the magnum opus periodic on the life and times of Rani Padmini will depict the various qualities of the Queen..

Nitin Desai's periodic saga of Chittod Ki Rani Padmini, who is known for her beauty, bravery and talent launches tonight on Sony Entertainment Television tonight.

The stage is set for the Swayamvar of Rani Padmini (Tejaswini Lonari), and Ratan Singh (Rohit Bakshi) who is mesmerized by seeing just the illusion of of Padmini on a leaf, reaches Sinhal Dweep right in time to be part of the swayamvar.

The first episode will see Ratan Singh emerging triumphant, but all get a shock when Rani Padmini in disguise stands before Ratan Singh to wage a battle.

As Producer Nitin Desai aptly puts it, "We have worked really hard on the sets, look and feel of the periodic. It is the tale of Rani Padmini who possesses nine different qualities ranging from being very beautiful, brave and talented. The first episode will basically focus on showcasing all the qualities of the lady".

Watch the premiere of Rani Padmini Ka Johur on Monday, May 25th, at 8 PM only on Sony..

    I watched the first epi and i must say it must be the most marvellous show on TV now. What effects man !!!
