Rudrakshi loses 10 kilos for Star Plus' Mitwa..

Geeta of Jasuben, Rudrakshi has got trimmer and younger to suit her role in Star Plus' upcoming show, Mitwa..


Rudrakshi, famously known as Geeta of Jasuben has lost 10 kgs for her role in Star Plus' new show Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke, produced by BAG Films.  She essays the role of a 20 year old girl who is married in the Thakur family.

"I had to loose 10 kgs for my role in the show and I did that in two months. It was tough but if there is dedication, then things work out as planned," says Rudrakshi.

Elaborating on her efforts the actress quips, "I am a Kathak dancer and that helped me a lot. With that I started doing yoga which gave me quick results. There was no cut in my diet but I used to have everything in a proportionate manner."

Talking about her role in the show she states, "I play this young girl whose father is a teacher. She is now married into the Thakur family and the show will depict her journey from twenty years of age to forty. After the leap is shown, the story will basically be about her daughter."

Hope Rudrakshi reaps all rewards for the efforts she has taken to fit the bill!!
