Manish Goel and wife Poonam Goel are proud parents of a baby girl who came into their lives on March 27th.

The couple who has a five year old boy wished for a girl this time, and their prayers were answered. The delighted father says, "I was very confident that it would be a girl this time. We have a boy who is very understanding, and it will now be a pleasure to see the feelings and expressions of a daughter. After five long years, we have got this baby in our lives and this is a great feeling".

Manish named his new-born as 'Maliha'. When asked the meaning he quips, "Maliha is a Sanskrit word which means 'perfect combination of beauty and strength'".

Manish was last seen in Zara Nachke Dikha where he sustained a dislocated shoulder and was advised rest for two months.

The actor is now itching to get back to television and is looking for something interesting..

We wish the new born a very healthy life…
