The actor cum dancer cum stand up comedian is back to fiction as he makes the audience laugh, through his show Ghar Ki Baat Hai...

Joshi">Swapnil Joshi who was last seen in Sahara One's Hare Kaanch Ki Choodiyan and Star One's Kadvee Khatti Meethi years back is now back to doing fiction shows with Red Chillies Idiot Boz' Ghar Ki Baat Hai on NDTV Imagine. In between the actor was too busy with hosting and participating in reality shows.

"I know I'm returning back to fiction after three long years, but there was a reason for it. Firstly it's Red Chillies Idiot Box which thinks out of the box. Secondly it's the terrific combination of SRK, Aziz Mirza and Anant Mahadevan", says Swapnil.

He found the project to be creamy. "I don't want to sound immodest, but the creamy comic cast is another factor for me taking up the fiction show. I'm fortunate enough to be associated with a show of such caliber", he adds further.

In earlier interviews, Swapnil has quipped that he is more inclined towards reality shows nowadays. "Yes I have said that and done too, but with that I have also mentioned in my interviews that I would only take a fiction if it's out of the box or larger than life. Ghar Ki Baat Hai is like that", he quips.

Talking about his character he states, "It's called Kakku and I'm referring to my character as a thing because it is of no use, but still is loveable. My role is very uncanny and I have never done such a role as it's too extreme. As the show goes further, people will know me well".

So what about reality shows? "For now this is my priority but I will take up something soon. Just waiting for another right opportunity to come my way", he concludes.

For now Swapnil is happy to be 'Kabab main haddi'…
