'MTV Big F
' is back with a bolder, more daring season with Randeep Hooda
in tow. In a season that explores desires, deeper fantasies, and sexuality of the fairer sex, the show is all set to take on taboo topics. For the next episode, MTV has picked Yuvraj Thakur
and we got into a little chat about his role and the series that's come up with the tag #ForbiddenNoMore.
When asked about his character on the show the actor said, "He is a stud, a typical popular guy. Everyone wants to be around him, he's got this edgy personality that I partially relate to. However, he's pretty loud about it unlike me."
Elaborating on the show the actor quipped, "It's about a girl named Jenny. She's the simple, studious kind. The episode revolves around her initial struggles and who she really is."
Yuvraj has done a few daily soaps but isn't associated with one currently and we wondered if that's a conscious choice. On this, he stated "Yes, it's a conscious choice of sorts. I'm grateful MTV has come up with such a concept (girl oriented)."
Speaking about the gendered perspective we asked him if having a strong woman like Bani J
in his life impacts the kind of content he engages with on-screen. To this, the actor said, "It's definitely a bonus as an actor to bring forth experiences of not just one but several other women."
We asked the actor if he would consider doing any of the current reality shows (eg: Nach Baliye?). Yuvraj averred, "I don't really see myself dancing on 'Nach Baliye'. Reality shows aren't something I have given enough thought to."
Meanwhile, we're looking forward to more shows that explore the essence of youth.
