Sonu Nigam's azaam row not only went viral but also prompted some crazy responses. Following that, we have a blame game of everything ranging from anti-religion to politically incorrect. This is where it started-

Amidst the tweet wars we had, a few TV celebs join the mess as well.

Here's what they had to say about the debacle-

Initially, Divyanka Tripathi had something to say in favour of Sonu Nigam. She tweeted this shedding light on the Civic and not Religious nature of the issue-

Following suit, Aly Goni, her Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-actor had something to say about the debacle. He tweeted about his stand against Sonu Nigam's stance and was in staunch opposition of the celebrity singer making an irresponsible public statement.

Saumya Tandon, who stars in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai offered a subtle reminder on the subject. She tweeted in agreement with Sonu Nigam and we support it!

Actress Richa Chadda too tweeted a disclaimer that twitter users will not be taken lightly regardless of it's harmless nature.

Bollywood Actor Randeep Hooda also gave a reasonable opinion grounding the issue as civic.

was just wondering where's Divyanka's article for the past few days & here it is. IF needs an article linked to DT every few days or else probably DT's PR team would sue IF for not posting an article despite paying them upfront for regular promotion.

Sonu Nigam has been changing his statements every other day. The fact that he later on said the same goes for temples and gurudwara is hilarious. Considering the man used to sing in jagrans with the load ass speakers. So much trouble just for some publicity.

And now here come these "celebrities" with their 2 cents. It's not even really about what Sonu Nigam said, but how he said it. His choice of words were inappropriate and made his comments come across as offensive, even if that wasn't his intention. And the fact that he referred to one religion alone initially did seem off.

Anyway, all of these celebs are talking nonsense. The only one that made sense to me is the veteran Raza Murad.
