Indian Viewers Welcome Shani Dev Into Their Homes..

8th day of the 8th month in the 8th year of this century spend your evening of 8th August with Shani Maharaj ~ Mahima Shani Dev Ki will now air every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 p.m. only on NDTV Imagine


Mahima Shani Dev Ki which was launched last week on NDTV Imagine is the new addition to the mythological serials currently running on television.

The serial is supposed to break all myths and notions whereby most people fear the effect of Shani on their lives and destiny. The mega serial produced by “Sagar Arts” highlights planet Shani's contribution to lift man to great heights of humility, patience and nobility, and portrays Shani as the greatest teacher, the greatest demolisher of ego and pride. On asking the Producer of the show Shiv Sagar, he too confirmed the same by saying, “Shani is not negative, and he is the God of Justice. There are misconceptions all have of Shani and tend to blame Him for all their problems in life. We through this serial want to make people aware of all such wrong notions.”

The Launch weekend of this new mythological serial had a resounding response, garnering an impressive TRP rating of 1.4 across all markets. “Talking about the enormous research that has gone into this serial, Shiv Sagar of Sagar Arts avers, “We are glad that people have accepted Shani Dev and are watching it. I have been reading the story of Vikramaditya for 10 years now and know in and out of it. It is very difficult to specialize in mythos and by the grace of God, we have been gaining success in all our projects”. He does not mince words when he says, “I don't want to take names, but many are trying their hands at epics and you have seen the result and how they have miserably flopped”.  
 
According to Vedic Astrology, Shani is considered to be a stern teacher who represents patience, effort, endeavor and endurance. He is the 8th planet among the Navagrahas. His number is 8 and he is appearing on your TV screen on 8th of this 8th month in this 8th year of the current century. 
 
The show launched with a one hour special episode on Saturday last week, and will now air every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 p.m on NDTV Imagine.

    oh ok..thats why the episode felt so rushed..i mean it was the first episode..and vikramaditya had already ridden the horse tricked by shanidev...i was amazed at the pace the show was moving

    well i know the story of shanidev pretty well too thanx to mum..if i am not wrong..der is vikramaditya, raja harishchandra and nala-damyanti who were the significant stories in the series...

    and i liked d hrly episode show..it was quite authentic thankfully..

    i am just tired with the liberties taken with our mythologies .in their bid to make it look modern its turning out to be quite annoying
